We are recruiting new skaters, non-skating officials (NSOs), referees, and volunteers! No experience or gear* is necessary to come give it a try; loaner gear is available (on a first come, first served basis), and we will teach you everything you need to know about derby!
Practice schedule: Tuesdays 6:45pm - 8:45pm and Sundays 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Joining as a Player
If you’re interested in joining as a player (which would make us stoked!), for the first two months, you can borrow team equipment during practice - although you will need your own mouthguard! You can drop in on a practice any time, but please email the team first or send us a message on Facebook so we can bring the right size gear for you to try.
Once you’ve decided to become a member of Naughty Pines Derby you must:
Fall under the category of female, transgender women, intersex women, and/or gender expansive, and be at least 18 years of age.
Sign and return all liability releases and medical forms to the team officers (we can get you more deets once you decide to commit!).
Own quad skates and all protective gear, which includes a helmet, mouth guard, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards.
Actively participate in at least one committee.
Pay dues for two consecutive months.
Attend practice regularly and be on skates (we do have an attendance policy).
Have primary medical insurance or an accidental injury policy, and you must notify an officer if your insurance status changes.
Carry additional WFTDA insurance, renewed annually.
Pass the WFTDA written test.*
Demonstrate compliance with the contents of the team handbook as pledged with a signature on page 14 of the handbook, which indicates that you have read the contents of the handbook and will abide by the policies.
*Pines skaters must also pass the WFTDA skills test in order to be eligible to play in an inter-league bout or scrimmage.
Other Volunteer Opportunities
