Naughty Pines Roller Derby
Who are the Naughty Pines?Â
Naughty Pines Roller Derby (NPRD) is a skater-owned and operated flat track roller derby league. We are a grassroots organization that began in January 2009, and the first roller derby team in the state of Wyoming. We became an official Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) apprentice league on May 2, 2014, and a full WFTDA member league on June 17, 2016. (We are super grateful to former NPRD President Eat My Fairy Dust for doing the legwork to help us meet this goal!)
NPRD operates as a 501c(4) non-profit organization. We not only strive to play roller derby, but also to enhance the local Laramie community by lending support and volunteer hours to other non-profits in the area. We pride our team on being skater-owned and operated. The team operates under four different skater-led committees, the guidance of a board of directors, four officers, and board-appointed coaching staff. We are able to bring the community of Laramie the sport of roller derby by combining our unique personalities and using our dynamic talents as a team.
